BBQ Cornish Hens


2 small Cornish Hens, split, skinned and wings removed.  Place into Zip-Lock Bag and marinate overnight in a mixture of:

1/2 cup Cider Vinegar
6 cloves crushed Garlic
1/2 tsp. Pepper

Preheat grill.  Discard marinade.  Microwave hens (covered with wax paper) approximately 15 minutes on high.  Transfer to grill and continue to cook 5 minutes on each side.  Baste with BBQ sauce mixture:

BBQ Sauce

In a small saucepan:

1/2 cup Ketchup
1 tbls Brown Sugar
1 tbls grated Onion
1 tbls Cider Vinegar
1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp. Dijon Mustard

Boil, simmer 5 minutes.

Serve left over sauce on the side (1/4 cup = 1 point).
